Design Brazil
Por Fred GelliDesigning the space and thinking of all the communication pieces to represent the Brazilian design in Cannes Lions 2009 was a great challenge. But the result is already rewarding. The concept of “Flipping the ordinary,” which values the concept of ‘doing more with little’, has been very successful during the international festival.
The simple strip of paper attached with a loop jumping of the wall, were placed right next to posters of intricate, and certainly very expensive, produced by the Asian delegation. And what’s better is that the attributes of simplicity and originality part of Brazilian creation are highlighted. This is proof that giving a playful tone combined with sustainability can be a powerful differentiator for Brazilian design as an export product.
